Chimaev moved to Sweden as a kid, trained in MMA there, and practiced the Islamic religion. The fighter strongly supports the Palestine cause and often speaks in favor of it. Recently, the fighter shared a reel on his Instagram story about the long conflict between Israel and Palestine.
The fighter wrote, “You are just guests of Palestine, respect them for giving you asylum. One day you will be expelled from Palestine, Inshallah. Give me the strongest man from Israel, I will break him.”
The fighter claimed that he would like to fight the strongest man in Israel and confidently boasted that he would destroy the fighter with ease. Palestine has been involved in a territorial conflict with Israel for over 75 years and Chimaev has shown his support for Palestine multiple times. The fighter was even seen wearing a T-shirt which confirmed his commitment to the Palestinian cause.
Israeli UFC fighter Natan Levy vs Khamzat Chimaev next ?
After Khamzat Chimaev shared the story online, it attracted a lot of attention, and others shared the story online. The fighter then decided to remove the story from his account but it was too late by then.
Israeli fighter Natan Levy did notice the story and, in a comment, mentioned that Chimaev deleted it afterward. The lightweight also mocked Twitter users by saying that they could hate him all they wanted.
He wrote, “He deleted it 🤫😆.Guys don’t forget to hit the follow button so you can be a hater on all my posts. Thank you 😘.”
Under the tweet, fans did ask the fighter if he was ready to fight Chimaev next, as the ‘Borz’ wanted to go against an Israeli fighter. Although Levy didn’t reply to the question, it will be hard for the fighter to get into a fight with Chimaev in the UFC on the basis of a conflict like this. As of now, Khamzat Chimaev is scheduled to fight Paulo Costa. Nevertheless, fans would definitely love to see Chimaev fighting Levy as both share opposite political views.
