LOS ANGELES (TND) — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's 20-year-old son, Pax, was hurt when he crashed his electric bicycle into a car in California, according to TMZ.
The media outlet reported the incident occurred Monday around 5 p.m. along on Los Feliz Boulevard, which is a busy Los Angeles street.
Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ said Pax "rammed into the back of a car stopped at the intersection" as he approached a red light. The media outlet noted the driver of the car got out to check on Pax, who appeared to be hurt.
"Police and paramedics arrived on the scene, and witnesses tell us Pax was experiencing hip pain, and had apparently suffered a head injury ... so, he was rushed to an L.A. hospital for treatment," according to TMZ. "We're told medics feared he suffered a minor brain bleed in the wreck, but the latest word is that Pax is stable, and might be able to go home sometime tonight."TMZ also noted Pax, who is one of Pitt and Jolie's six children, "has been seen recently cruising around L.A. on a BMX-style e-bike, and almost always without a helmet."
In June, one of Pitt and Jolie's daughters filed paperwork to legally remove "Pitt" from her name on the day she turned 18.
Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt submitted a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 27 to change her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, The Los Angeles Timespreviously reported.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, but the details of the divorce have not yet been finalized.
The actors, who were married in August 2014, have filed lawsuits against each other in recent years stemming from disagreements over their shared business ventures and property including a winery in France, the Times reported.
Aside from Pax and Shiloh, the siblings also include Maddox, Zahara, as well twins Knox and Vivienne.
