IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KBOI) — A man was burned during a fire inside of an RV early Saturday morning.
Idaho Falls Dispatch received a call from two Snake River RV Park occupants who reported seeing flames coming from an RV. The Idaho Falls Fire Department responded to the fire just before 4:30 a.m.
Law enforcement arrived minutes later.
Fire officials say one man was injured in the fire and taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center before being transported to the University of Utah Burn Center.
There were no other reported injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The RV was a total loss but officials say due to a fast response, firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other structures in the area.
