    Tale: Ishikawa Tale

    Location: Toyotama

    This tale will be unlocked when you reach the second act of the game. Completing the Ishikawa's tales that take place in Izuhara is not necessary to start this one, but it is recommended to understand the whole story better.

    (5 of 9) Sensei Ishikawa heard rumors of a Japanese archer aiding the Mongols in Akashima. He suspects this archer is his rebellious former student, Tomoe, and decided to investigate. I will join him in Akashima when I can.

    Quest stages of Dreams of Conquest

    1. Meet Ishikawa at a camp in Akashima

    Go to Akashima Survivor Camp in Toyotama. You will not find Ishikawa there, but one of the men in the camp will tell you that Ishikawa left the camp and headed for the east coast.

    Sensei Ishikawa is on the trail of Tomoe, his traitorous former student, in Akashima. Together we need to find her and end her treachery.

    2. Look for Ishikawa east of the camp / Defeat the Mongols

    Head east. There, in the forest, you'll come across Ishikawa fighting a few Mongols. Get rid of all the attackers.

    3. Speak with Ishikawa / Defeat the Mongol archers

    Find wounded Ishikawa hiding between the rocks and talk to him. Your conversation will be interrupted by the attack of the second group of Mongolian archers.

    Get rid of them. Be careful as these archers can shoot two arrows in a row.

    4. Speak with Ishikawa

    When you get rid of all the archers, talk to Ishikawa again. You'll tell him he was too focused on finding Tomoe, and because of that he didn't notice the danger. He'll admit you're right.

    5. Go with Ishikawa to Tomoe's camp / Survey Tomoe's camp

    Then you'll mount your horses and go on a trip to the camp where Tomoe should be staying. It will be a long journey during which you will come across the bodies of Tomoe's victims.

    When you finally get near the Tomoe’s Camp, you will get off your horses and walk to a nearby hill from where you can survey the camp.

    6. Reach the encounter area / Defeat the Mongol's in Tomoe's camp / Search the camp for signs of Tomoe

    Get rid of all the Mongols in the camp. You can start by eliminating some of them with a bow. When you kill all the enemies, you'll find that Tomoe was not among them so look for clues to find out where she might be. Find two documents. A supply list that lies on the chest standing near the rocks...

    and a message to Khan that lies on a box standing in a "half-tent" a few steps farther.

    It looks like Tomoe has plans to erect Mongol archery training camps across Toyotama. This tale will end and two more will be unlocked - "The Ghost and the Demon Sensei" and "The Terror of Otsuna".

    After completing Dreams of Conquest you will get or will be able to get The Ghost and the Demon Sensei and The Terror of Otsuna.
